Feburary Commercial Painting Standard Setter Award

🏆The Standard Setter Award is awarded to the person who has 'set the standard' for the team each month. From something as simple as correct data entry, to excellent customer reviews, setting the standard is something we are ready to reward.

And the Feburary Winner is:

Tom Hill

Why:

Tom Hill has made an impressive start since joining the business three months ago as Sales Manager for Melbourne. Relocating from New Zealand and coming from outside the industry, Tom quickly immersed himself in the role and focused on strengthening customer engagement and interaction levels across the region.

While developing sales strategies, campaigns, and supporting his team through coaching and guidance, Tom also chose to lead by example. In February alone, he completed 47 of his own customer appointments, all generated through cold calls as he had no existing relationships in Melbourne. Achieving this level of activity while still managing the broader responsibilities of the sales team is an outstanding effort and demonstrates the energy and commitment he has brought to the role.

 

What we can learn?

Tom’s approach highlights the importance of leading from the front. Strong customer engagement and interactions are the foundation of a healthy pipeline, and his willingness to demonstrate the level of activity required helps reinforce the behaviours that drive sales success. By setting the example and supporting his team along the way, Tom is helping build momentum and a strong culture of customer interaction across the Melbourne business.
