We're pleased to announce our winners for the 2025 NAIDOC Awards.

This week, NAIDOC Week 2025 is being celebrated across our business.

After putting a call out for nominations for the 3rd annual Programmed NAIDOC Awards, we want to extend a massive thank you to each and every one of you who took the time to nominate. The recognition and support from all the nominators is wonderful to see, and your engagement makes the awards so much more meaningful.

We're pleased to announce the following winners for the 2025 NAIDOC Awards!


NAIDOC Person of the Year

Hannah Villaruz
Digital Communications Coordinator, Facility Management Marketing Team


Hannah is the chosen winner for NAIDOC Person of the Year 2025 due to her dedication, commitment, and thoughtfulness across the business and when engaging with first nations people.

Engaging with First Nations people, Hannah always shows cultural respect, safety and sensitivity  to get a better understanding of the story behind what she is marketing and promoting.

Hannah applies the same approach throughout the business, so other staff members are receiving the same message that is accurate, clear, and true to the voices and values of our First Nations people and communities.

Through her continuous work contribution for first nations people, Hannah has led the way for the businesses reconciliation journey through relationships-respect-opportunities.

NAIDOC Team of the Year

Facility Management Melbourne Water Team


The Melbourne Water team is being recognised for their commitment to meaningful change through education, cultural understanding, and the respectful integration of First Nations perspectives into their work.

By showcasing artworks and engaging deeply with the significance of water and land for First Nations Peoples, they have demonstrated a genuine respect for culture and a thoughtful awareness of the impact and importance of what they do.

NAIDOC Partner of the Year

Woodlands Industries Electrical, ACT


This Partner is being recognised for the depth and diversity of partnerships they have fostered, and the meaningful value they have added to our organisation. Through education, change, and dedicated support, they have truly partnered with the business - engaging additional vendors, creating employment opportunities for First Nations peoples, and supporting surrounding communities.

Their work has honoured and respected Elders, promoted education in trades, and created real pathways for opportunity, all while proudly reflecting our organisation’s values and commitment to First Nations engagement.
