Good news - our Great Barrier Island Drone Survey video will give you and insider's look into this incredibly cool occupation! 🚁 In this video, our pilots Ben Brown and James Clarke take us on a journey through a day in the life of flying a drone to inspect towers and facilities in remote and challenging locations as they conduct a Digital Asset Capture survey of a tower on Great Barrier Island. Part of the journey includes navigating the island to different sites. It’s a fascinating experience that highlights the precision and attention to detail required for every mission. The footage showcases the versatility of our drones, which capture images from multiple angles to create a 3D model of the tower and provide valuable data for asset management. With our drones, we can explore and inspect areas that are typically difficult or dangerous to access. This survey reduces the need for physical inspections and mitigates the risks associated with climbing towers or working at height. It also reduces costs and saves time - once the data is collected, you can view it from anywhere. “Drones have reshaped the landscape of facility management, making it possible to safely and thoroughly inspect assets without putting anyone at risk,” said Ben.
