Can you believe we’ve already passed the halfway point of 2026?
It’s been a whirlwind of a year, moving very quickly, but notching up plenty of major achievements along the way. As we enter the second half of the year, and Q2 of FY26, I’m keen to take the time to reflect on the past few months and look ahead to what’s next for us at Programmed.
The first quarter has seen continued progress across our business as we simplify and strengthen the way we operate, positioning ourselves for long-term success. There have been plenty of changes to navigate, but we’ve also celebrated important milestones, welcomed new customers, recognised our people, and taken further steps towards becoming One Programmed.
Celebrating our past while building our future
As we pass the halfway point of the year, we also find ourselves halfway through Programmed's 75th anniversary.
While we're proud of the history that has shaped our business, our focus is firmly on the future. The work we're doing to bring our businesses together as One Programmed is about building on the strengths of the past while creating a simpler, more connected organization that's well positioned for the years ahead.
Throughout the year, we've been sharing stories that celebrate the people, projects and moments that have helped define Programmed over the past 75 years. I encourage you to follow along on our social media channels, where we'll continue reflecting on our history and recognizing the contributions of the many people who have helped make Programmed what it is today.
Thank you to everyone who continues to be part of that story. The next chapter of Programmed is one we're building together.
A quick update on our business performance
I’m pleased to report our whole of business Q1 Financial results have met our budget expectations and importantly, our sales, when compared to last year, are starting to lift with a 5% uplift in June, where our 4 Operating Divisions in Staffing (Industrial, Infrastructure, Training & PERSOL), Energy Resources & Offshore, Facility Management, and Property Services all experienced growth when compared to the same time last year.
Keep up the great work.
Introducing our Programmed Chief Financial Officer - Reece White
As part of our continued transition towards One Programmed, we've taken another important step by bringing together our finance functions and appointing Reece White as Acting Chief Financial Officer.

Reece brings extensive finance, commercial, and operational leadership experience, along with a deep understanding of our business. His appointment strengthens our Executive Leadership Team and supports our focus on operating as a more integrated organisation, while maintaining strong financial stewardship as we deliver on our strategic priorities.
Please join me in congratulating Reece on his appointment.
Reece will be communicating his plans for the function shortly.
Delivering across our business
Across Programmed, our teams continue to deliver excellent outcomes for customers while creating new opportunities for future growth.
Facility Management
Facility Management has had a particularly strong start to the year, securing new partnerships and continuing to strengthen existing customer relationships.

Recent highlights include our partnership with the Aboriginal Housing Office, the commencement of our work with AngloGold Ashanti, and the successful mobilisation of our latest engagement with PLS. These achievements demonstrate the capability of our teams to deliver safe, high-quality services while building trusted, long-term partnerships.
The division has also continued to invest in its future, with a clear focus on growth, innovation and supporting our people to succeed.
Property Services
Property Services continues to perform strongly over its service lines. Building Projects VIC remains a key delivery partner to Facility Management, progressing major fire prevention works across Victorian Government Schools.
Signage Solutions is benefiting from the continued expansion of Chinese EV brands, with Programmed the preferred signage provider for Chery, BYD, Zeekr and Lepas dealer networks.
Open Space has secured key contract wins and renewals while strengthening its leadership team and positioning for future growth.
Commercial Painting continues to invest in innovation and operational excellence through its Future of Painting initiative and industry partnerships.
Electrical Technologies is continuing to build momentum towards its 300 by 2030 ambition, with the ongoing success of the Harvey Beef contract in WA and recognition as a finalist for three Inavate APAC Awards, further reinforcing its reputation as an industry leader.
Staffing
Staffing has continued to deliver strong outcomes across Australia and New Zealand, securing several significant customer partnerships while maintaining a clear focus on service excellence and customer relationships.
During the quarter, teams secured major contracts with organizations including VISY, Thiess and DHL Supply Chain, demonstrating the capability of our workforce solutions for businesses to support customers operating at scale across a range of industries.
The division was also recognized by the Recruitment, Consulting and Staffing Association (RCSA), receiving the Excellence in Safety and Wellbeing Culture award and being named a finalist for Excellence in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. These achievements reflect the commitment our people bring to creating safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplaces.
Recent media coverage and business as usual
In the wake of recent media speculation regarding Programmed and PERSOL, I’d like to also take the opportunity to reiterate the current state of our business.
As previously communicated, PERSOL is undertaking a broader portfolio review. This process remains under consideration and no decisions have been made.
Our day-to-day operations and strategy remain the same, our leadership team continues to lead the business, and our focus remains firmly on delivering for our customers and supporting our people.
I understand that media coverage can create uncertainty. Rest assured, we are committed to communicating openly and will share further updates if and when there is information to provide.
Hitting the road and looking ahead
As we move into the next quarter, I'm looking forward to connecting with many of you in person during our upcoming roadshow across Australia and New Zealand, alongside Mark Rademaker, Executive General Manager – HR.
These sessions will be an opportunity to share more about our progress, discuss our priorities for the year ahead, and, most importantly, hear directly from you. We'll conclude the roadshow with an all-company hybrid Town Hall in Melbourne, and I encourage everyone to participate where possible.
Thank you again for everything you've contributed over the past few months. The progress we're making is only possible because of your commitment and contribution - and willingness to embrace change.
I’m excited for what lies ahead as we continue to live our values and build a stronger, more connected Programmed.
Take care and stay safe,
Graeme Hurn
