Another year, another successful Toitū Carbon Reduce re-certification for our New Zealand operations! Toitū Carbon Reduce is a world-leading carbon emissions verification and reduction programme developed by New Zealand climate scientists to support businesses of all sizes to build best practice capability on carbon, achieve long term sustained carbon action, and report scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. This year is particularly worth celebrating, as it marks five years of working with Toitū to measure and report our emissions. Over that time, we have continued to strengthen our understanding of our emissions and how we can reduce our impact. This year’s certification also verified a 14% reduction in absolute Toitū mandatory boundary emissions against our 2023–24 base year, a fantastic result and a great reflection of the progress being made. A big well done and thank you to everyone involved in completing another successful re-certification. Reaching five years is something to be proud of, but it’s also a reminder to keep looking ahead and building on the progress we’ve made.
