June marks Pride Month 2026, a time to celebrate the resilience, achievements and ongoing contributions of the LGBTI+ community, and to reaffirm our commitment to a workplace where everyone feels safe, respected and included.
Pride Month is an opportunity to reflect on the progress made, recognise the efforts of advocates and allies, and continue building a culture where every person can be their authentic self at work. At Programmed, we know that embracing diversity strengthens our teams, supports better collaboration and helps us grow together.

We encourage everyone to engage, learn and demonstrate inclusive behaviours every day, using Pride Month as a moment to reflect and build momentum.
Visibility Matters - How you can show your support
Visible cues of inclusion send a powerful message. They help signal to colleagues, clients and candidates that this is a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. These small but meaningful actions can help people feel seen, respected and supported.
To support this, we are offering Pride, Ally and Pronoun badges for those who would like one.
How to order your badge:
-
Email pride@programmed.com.au
-
Include your name and preferred badge type (Pride, Ally or Pronoun)
Other ways to show your support:
- Add your pronouns to your email signature (functionality will return shortly)
- Use Pride-themed Teams backgrounds or display inclusive posters in your workspace
LGBTI+ Awareness Training
We invite you to join our LGBTI+ Awareness session to deepen your understanding of inclusion in practice. This session provides a safe space to learn, ask questions and build confidence in supporting others.
eLearning Modules - Build Lasting Allyship
Our on-demand modules are designed to help you build your knowledge and confidence as an ally all year round.
Toolbox Talk & Resources
Below is a Toolbox Talk with more information about Pride Month. We encourage everyone to take a read and share amongst your teams.

Passionate about Diversity Days? Become a Local Diversity Day Champion!
If you're passionate about celebrating diversity and want to champion it at your local branch or office, we encourage you to sign up as a Local Diversity Day Champion. This role allows you to help celebrate significant diversity days in a meaningful way within your team, whether through organising events, hosting activities, or fostering discussions.
You’ll receive information and resources to make these celebrations inclusive and engaging, while working alongside local leadership teams to ensure greater participation. If you're passionate about promoting diversity, sign up today and help make a difference!
Let’s come together this Pride Month with respect, curiosity and allyship. Every action, no matter how small, contributes to a culture where people feel safe, valued and empowered to be themselves.
While Pride Month provides an important opportunity to focus our attention and celebrate inclusion, it is equally important that these actions and behaviours continue every day of the year. Creating a truly inclusive workplace is an ongoing commitment, and each of us plays a part in embedding inclusion into how we work and support one another.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Kind regards,
Mark Rademaker
