The day kicked off with Nat Hickox, Head of FM (VIC/TAS & Utilities), who set the tone with insights on the importance of safety in everyday work. Throughout the sessions, apprentices gained practical knowledge on topics including recent WorkSafe incidents, asbestos awareness, vehicle inspections, and the use of safety tools such as ProSafe and Safety Culture. ![Image-17-1536x1152](https://blog.programmed.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/PFM/PFM%20Internal%20Comms/Culture%20Community/Image-17-1536x1152.jpeg?width=600&height=450&name=Image-17-1536x1152.jpeg) A highlight of the day was celebrating Alia Djajamihardja, Asset Services Technician, and Apprentice Electricians Andrej Kralev and Samantha Zee, who were recognised for successfully completing their apprenticeships, a fantastic achievement! ![Apprentice-Certificates-1536x864](https://blog.programmed.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/PFM/PFM%20Internal%20Comms/Culture%20Community/Apprentice-Certificates-1536x864.jpg?width=600&height=338&name=Apprentice-Certificates-1536x864.jpg) A particularly impactful moment came from Ash Manzie, Electrical Worker, who shared his personal experience with a workplace incident and the lasting impact it had on his life. His story reinforced a powerful message: the incident was preventable, and with proper hazard reporting and controls in place, it could have been avoided.
