Welcome to our update on sustainability initiatives. This edition highlights our ongoing efforts to strengthen sustainability practices across our operations.
In Focus:
- Establishment of Sustainability Community of Practice:
We are pleased to announce the formation of our Sustainability Community of Practice, aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation in achieving our sustainability goals. This community brings together representatives from every business unit and region, supported by senior leadership, to ensure a diverse and inclusive range of perspectives. Together, we will play a vital role in embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into our corporate strategy and everyday operations.
- Materiality and Marginal Abatement Cost Curve (MACC) Assessments:
Our ongoing assessments of materiality and MACC are underway, helping us identify key environmental impacts and prioritize mitigation strategies. This data-driven approach ensures our efforts are aligned with both regulatory requirements and stakeholders’ expectations.
- Improving Ecovadis Outcomes:
We are dedicated to enhancing our Ecovadis sustainability ratings by implementing targeted improvements around our ESG Approach. Our goal is to achieve higher benchmarks in environmental performance, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Enhancing our rating not only increases transparency but also opens new opportunities with clients and within our supply chain, demonstrating our dedication to responsible and sustainable business practices.
- Focus on Reduction of GHG Emissions:
Reducing our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions remains a cornerstone of our sustainability strategy. This quarter, we continue to implement initiatives aimed at lowering our carbon footprint across all business units. From energy efficiency projects to promoting sustainable transport solutions, we are committed to making measurable progress and achieving our group companies Carbon Neutral goals.
