Written by Communications | Oct 29, 2026, 2:32:26 AM

This certification strengthens our ability to provide customers and stakeholders with credible, independently verified emissions information and supports sustainability, procurement, tender and compliance requirements.

Verified performance

    • Total emissions: 3,212.58 tCO2e, representing a 14% reduction against the 2023–2024 base year.
    • Data quality: The inventory has been assessed as High quality against completeness and assumed uncertainty criteria.
    • Certification assurance: Emissions have been independently verified in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018, ISO 14064-3:2019 and Toitū programme requirements.

Continuing our decarbonisation focus

Our priority remains turning verified data into practical operational improvement. Key opportunities include:

    • Prioritising fleet transition to hybrids (HEVs), plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) and electric vehicles (EVs), matched to operational and role requirements.
    • Transitioning suitable combustion-powered equipment to battery-operated alternatives.
    • Working with suppliers that can demonstrate measurable emissions reductions and/or social impact outcomes.
    • Continuing to embed emissions performance into procurement, business planning and operational decision-making.
