Hi everyone!
I am Kumar Gurung and I started in June 2022 as part of the VSBA Programmed Facilities Admin team. I am excited on this journey. The experience being part of the team is amazing as we are working with a sense of purpose to help schools all over Victoria to educate the next generation that is going to build Australia by ensuring schools operate safely.
Prior to this role, I have had over six years’ experience in various different industries including Telecommunication industry as a Regulatory Associate. The Banking industry as Credit Administration Assistant and Education Consultancy as Documentation Officer.
I have completed my Master of Arts in Economics, Bachelor of Business Administration with major in Finance.
I am intrigued to solve challenges and enjoy dynamic work setting and that is one of the main reasons why I have worked through various industries.
Interests
I love travelling to different places. The photo is of Treganowan Lake in Puffing Billy. It is thrilling and fun filled trip with the steam engine train.
I also enjoy reading fiction and books on economics, history, self-motivation.
My all-time favourite book that I would recommend is ‘The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho.
