Annabel is a Painter in Sydney and has been with Programmed for over three years and is currently studying her Honours in Construction Management. Annabel tells us about her passion for the arts and what she enjoys doing when she’s not at working. We hope you enjoy getting to know Annabel as much as we did!
I’ve always had a passion for creativity and art. I am a very hands-on person and find myself always on the move. When I came across Painting and Decorating, I thought it would be a great step into that career path.
Honestly, joining the team at Programmed has been the most significant achievement. I have found myself being more recognisable as a female tradesperson and value the importance of spreading the word that women can succeed in trade roles.
The lovely work environment, friendly people and being around a team that genuinely care about their employees. I also like that Programmed is very committed to safety. What are your career goals and what steps are you taking to prepare yourself for the future? I am currently completing my Honours of Construction Management to help further my career in painting. I am always conscious of staying motived and on my feet.
I love being outdoors, exercising and adventuring.
