Meet Amanda Horne, Account Manager for Property Services in New Zealand, who has taken our philosophy “it’s your career, your opportunity!” and run with it.
Amanda started her career working in the construction industry, where she gained invaluable experience in admin and accounts for five years and an understanding of account management. An opportunity then presented itself to join Programmed Property Services, where Amanda has been for almost three years. She started as a National Sales & Admin Coordinator, and through hard work and determination to progress, she is now an Account Manager.
Amanda shares with us her tips on how to build a successful career at Programmed.
It is not only at work that Amanda applies this can-do attitude. Outside of work, Amanda is a one-time marathon runner, enjoys hot yoga, cooking and baking, is learning Te Reo Māori and has recently successfully gained a Level 5 Business Diploma, all with the support of Programmed.
She is a strong advocate for equality and inclusion, especially for gender balance in male-dominated workplaces, and received a Programmed Difference Award within her first year at Programmed for her efforts in fostering inclusion and diversity in the workplace.
