This was an opportunity to revisit our collective commitment to preventing bullying, and fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and manaakitanga (care for others). In New Zealand, one in five workers have experienced bullying in the past 12 months, and bullying costs NZ employers an estimated $1.34 billion every year. Pink Shirt Day aims to address these challenges by fostering empathy and respect, helping to reduce the negative effects of bullying on mental health and general wellbeing."   ![235c3606-dda1-4efb-8175-d6566e7580c1-upload\_video-pinkshirtday-fc7849](https://blog.programmed.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/PFM/PFM%20Internal%20Comms/Work%20and%20Smile/Work%20and%20Smile%20Fridays/235c3606-dda1-4efb-8175-d6566e7580c1-upload_video-pinkshirtday-fc7849.jpg?width=600&height=450&name=235c3606-dda1-4efb-8175-d6566e7580c1-upload_video-pinkshirtday-fc7849.jpg)     --- Such an important initiative, well done team!
