This Friday, we share a story submitted by Wendie Parish, HSEQ Coordinator, about an electrifying visit to Transpower's Manapouri Substation site, establishing a strong foundation as they head into a new project.
"We had an incredibly successful and energising collaborative visit to the Manapouri Substation site, in preparation for an exciting new building renovation project under the Transpower contract. The visit brought together a great mix of people, including project managers from both Programmed and Transpower, as well as engaged subcontractors.
The strong sense of teamwork, open communication, and shared enthusiasm made for a truly rewarding day. While the local mosquitoes were certainly enthusiastic too, they didn’t dampen the team's spirit.
We left with a strong understanding of the site, clearer alignment across all parties, and a genuine sense of momentum heading into the project."
