Programmed Work and Smile Fridays

WA PMO team delivers success for MSA over summer

Written by Communications | 19 February 2026 1:00:01 PM

This Friday, we’re celebrating the dedication of our WA PMO team and contractor partners who worked through the summer break to deliver a major school upgrade safely, collaboratively, and ahead of schedule.

"One of the projects that our PMO team in WA is delivering under the MSA contract is to re-roof about 85% of a school, while also removing evaporative coolers and gas heaters and replacing them with reverse cycle air conditioners, which forms part of the WA Government Election Commitments. This is a significant project which could only be completed during the December to January school holiday period.

Our PMO team has been working very closely with all stakeholders in the lead up to the holiday period, with the project progressing safely and ahead of schedule through the very warm summer holiday period. There was no Christmas break for the PMO team members directly involved or the contractors delivering the project.

The smiles on the photo personify the heart and soul and team spirit of our team, with team members supporting each other and also working collaboratively with our contractors to drive project delivery success … Work and Smile ‘For We (Team)’

The school principal and staff are very excited to return to the school after the holidays following the significant upgrade provided to their school."
