A big step forward on our digital transformation journey with NextGen

Written by Facility Management | Jun 26, 2025 1:51:51 AM

This week marks a significant step forward on our digital transformation journey, with the successful launch of two key platforms designed to make your day-to-day work simpler and more efficient.

I’m thrilled to share the Project NextGen team’s successful delivery of two key initiatives:

  • Transitioning Maximo to MAS, offering a more user-friendly, responsive interface.
  • Launching Touchstone – combining ProMap and the Field Mobility App into one seamless system across desktop and mobile.

This achievement lays the foundation for a more connected, streamlined way of working at Programmed, benefiting our customers, contractors, and of course, our people. We’ve already heard some fantastic reports from the field, with teams noting the platforms’ improved processing time and ease of use.

Behind this major milestone is our incredibly hardworking, dedicated Project NextGen team. I’d like to take the opportunity to offer a heartfelt thank you to the team - your extra hours, hard work, and patience have not gone unnoticed.

Also, a massive call out to the Operational & SME teams who contributed significantly in the User Acceptance Testing phase of the project.

Transformation Projects like this can only be delivered successfully when the business really leans in, which I’m proud to see has taken place.

Thanks to you all, these platforms offer a better way of working today, while ensuring we continue to deliver for our customers well into the future.

More exciting news to come

This is just one phase in Project NextGen – a two-year project that will elevate our technology systems and digital landscape, making it easier to do business with, and for, Programmed.

We have already delivered on a new Field Mobility App, particular to our Social Housing customers, and implemented our new and much improved telephony system, Genesys, across the broader group. These initiatives have set the pace for our ongoing delivery of improvements.

We’ll have plenty more to share in the coming months. In the meantime, you can visit our Project NextGen landing page for the latest updates, resources, or support you need along the way.

A big thank you to all of our Programmed community for your patience as we deliver on these long-awaited technology updates, and another thank you to the NextGen team - this wouldn’t be possible without you.

Take care and stay safe,
