Volunteering at Programmed - Giving back to the community
Did you know Programmed offers paid volunteer leave? Our Volunteer Guideline, launched in December 2024, gives eligible employees the opportunity to engage in meaningful volunteer work, with full support from Programmed.

Volunteering, whether individually or as a team, is a great way to support local causes, contribute to community initiatives, and build stronger connections with those around us. It can also be a rewarding experience that allows you to make a positive impact beyond the workplace.

Employee Xtras - Discount Program & Wellbeing Centre
Did you know that permanent Programmed employees have access to Employee Xtras? Available across Australia and New Zealand, this platform gives eligible employees access to cashback and discount offers from a wide range of retailers, including Coles, Woolworths, JB Hi-Fi, Myer, Hoyts, Expedia, and more. In 2025, Programmed employees spent over $1.7 million through Employee Xtras, saving over $98,000. Since 2020, as a collective, we've saved over $490,000!
One of the most popular categories on our discounts platform, Employee Xtras, is travel, and for good reason! Travelling improves our overall wellbeing and reduces stress, but unfortunately it can come with a hefty price tag. So when you’re ready to book accommodation, flights, trains, car rentals or even activities, make sure you check out our Discounts platform to see where you can save!
