Our latest Programmed Difference Award Winners
Susanna Nelson
Claims Team Lead
Nominated by Tim Lu, Commercial Manager
"We had some concerns over the welfare of one of our employees over the weekend. She helped the team member during the time and displayed great Programmed Values."
Thiago Kuratani
Project Engineer
Nominated by Kate Wilson, Contract Administrator
"Thiago nominated himself to be included on the On-Call roster to share the workload with the Supervisors. On his first weekend On Call, in the middle of the night, there was an unprecedented major event at Somers Treatment Plant where a pump exploded and shot through the ceiling of the pump station.
In the middle of the night, Thiago had to organise 3 subcontractors and 2 extra PRG SEW crews (not on call) to be engaged to get the situation under control. With the support of Tom Wigg, Thiago navigated the incident confidently and safely. We received the below glowing email from South East Water.
Thiago is an absolute legend!! He is always friendly, thoughtful, kind, funny and an awesome member of the South East Water office team and the technicians really love and respect him too. He emphatically embodies the Programmed culture. We believe that a Programmed Difference Award will give a lift to Thiago's wings - recognising all of his hard work and the spirit that he brings to Programmed."
Peter Ross
Operations Manager
Nominated by Effie Spiropoulos, FM Hub Manager
"I would like to nominate Peter Ross for the 'Difference Award' due to his exceptional dedication to both the PFM Team and the company. Peter consistently goes out of his way to ensure that everyone's needs are met, and he does so with a level of care and commitment that truly sets him apart.
Peter is a backbone in our office, always available to assist with everything from day-to-day operations to addressing any challenges that arise. His proactive approach ensures smooth communication within our teams, and his problem-solving skills are invaluable in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
What makes Peter particularly deserving of the difference award is his genuine willingness to help others. Whether it's staying late to ensure tasks are completed, offering a listening ear to those in need of support or the amazing monthly breakfast event he hosts in the office to bring together trade/SYD staff and office staff together., no matter what he constantly goes the extra mile. His positive attitude and unwavering dedication have made a lasting impact on our office culture and the success of the company."
