Sonder replaces our previous EAP provider, Converge, and gives you 24/7 access to wellbeing, non-work-related medical and personal safety support through one easy-to-use app.
This partnership supports our Work and Smile – For All of Us vision by making wellbeing proactive and accessible every day, not just during difficult times.
How Sonder can support you
With the Sonder app, you can:
- Chat or call wellbeing specialists 24/7 for mental health, medical or personal safety support
- Speak with registered nurses anytime for non-work-related medical advice (including sharing photos/videos)
- Complete regular wellbeing and mental health check-ins
- Access trusted articles, videos and self-care resources
- Use personal safety tools when travelling or meeting new people
- Receive alerts about local disruptions such as extreme weather or transport issues
The app is free, confidential and available to you and your family.

Transition from Converge
- A 3-month transition period applies for anyone currently receiving support through Converge
- All new requests should now go through Sonder
- Please remove any Converge posters or materials and replace them with Sonder information (see posters for download below).
The HSE, Quality and Compliance teams will update IMS and intranet documentation. Branches and Client Sites will need to update their local documentation, such as project and emergency plans, to reference Sonder instead of Converge.
