Our Programmed Culinary Team at Golden Grove has hosted an unparalleled Eat Street experience in the gardens of the 29Metals mine site. This first-of-its-kind event brought a unique outdoor dining experience to the residents, complete with live music and a variety of international cuisines.
Residents were welcomed to an evening under the stars where Australian Idol Chris Murphy provided the entertainment. Strumming his guitar and engaging the crowd with jokes and melodies, Murphy's performance added a lively atmosphere to the event.
The food selection was as diverse as it was delicious. From Mediterranean dishes to Japanese specialties and classic American cuisine, there was something for everyone. The dessert stall was particularly popular, featuring treats like chocolate-covered churros, banana pancakes, and milkshakes topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.
The event received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the 29Metals team and residents, with comments such as "Awesome job," "Do more of this," and "Excellent guys," highlighting the success of the night.
A particularly special shoutout to Amanda Pickering, Head of Culinary; Luke Cattana, Culinary Operations; Waffe El Jazzar, Head Chef; and the entire team for their outstanding efforts. From Perry's innovative designs to Liz and Alana's infectious laughter, every detail was top-notch.
