Driving smarter with Programmed’s Fleet team

Feb 11, 2026 10:30:00 AM | Growth & Success Stories Driving smarter with Programmed’s Fleet team

Investing in smarter, more capable fleet vehicles đźš—

Behind every job well done in the field is a vehicle that’s fit for purpose, reliable, and ready to go. With this in mind, our Fleet team has been undertaking a major review of our 2,500-vehicle fleet, focusing on quality, consistency, and supporting our people on the ground.

The objective is simple, but important - streamline the number of vehicle choices and builds, while continuing to offer high-quality, fleet-approved vehicles that meet the operational needs of our field workforce and improve new vehicle delivery lead times.

To get it right, the Fleet team has been actively seeking extensive feedback from across the business. That consultation is ongoing and will continue well into 2026, reflecting the team’s commitment to ensuring a successful project.

A recent milestone in this journey took place in Karratha, where members of the Fleet team were on hand to accept the delivery of three brand new Toyota HiLux vehicles. Each vehicle has been fitted with a high-quality, centrally locked service body designed to support safe, efficient work in the field.

The vehicles also include practical upgrades, including a 5G mobile phone signal booster to support connectivity in remote locations, and a 1000-watt inverter to power essential equipment on site.

Adding to the excitement was the inclusion of First Nations branding on the vehicles. It’s a visible reminder of our commitment to inclusion and respect, and something the team was particularly proud to see brought to life.

The Fleet team will continue to collaborate closely with the business as the review progresses, ensuring our fleet evolves in line with operational needs and continues to support our people to do their best work.
