Public Holiday Substitution Guideline
Earlier this year, we introduced the Public Holiday Substitution Guideline across Facility Management, Property Services & Group, designed to support the diverse cultural and personal values of our workforce. This initiative empowers eligible employees to substitute a designated public holiday with an alternate day that holds personal significance to them, subject to manager approval.
Participation is entirely voluntary and managed locally between the employee and their line manager. To apply, simply complete the Public Holiday Substitution Request Form, obtain manager approval, and ensure the substitute day is taken within three months of the original public holiday. No payroll action is required, and the exchange is like-for-like, meaning no additional payments or benefits apply.
