Launching our Reconciliation Action Plan this NAIDOC Week

Written by Facility Management | Jul 7, 2025 5:01:57 AM

In celebration of NAIDOC Week—a time to honour the history, culture, and achievements of First Nations peoples, we are proud and excited to officially launch Programmed Facility Management’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

Our RAP represents a significant and strategic step forward in our reconciliation journey. It sets out a clear framework and vision, outlining actions that will guide our organisation in fostering meaningful relationships, respect, and opportunities with First Nations communities.

What's behind the plan?

In February 2023, we formed a RAP Working Group (RWG) made up of nine passionate team members from across Programmed. This group has worked collaboratively to develop our RAP and plan the deliverables over the next two years. The diversity of our RWG reflects the strength of our workforce and the collective drive to create lasting, positive change.

We are proud to share that in July 2024, our RAP received formal endorsement from Reconciliation Australia.

Hard copies will be available in each Programmed Facility Management head office across Australia. But more importantly, you can also access the RAP document here.

📍 Milestone walls

We’re in the process of installing “milestone walls” across our head offices to give visibility to our RAP commitments. These will help track our progress and inspire ongoing involvement.

📹 RAP video series

Over the coming days, we’ll be sharing stories from our RAP Working Group and First Nations partners. You’ll hear directly from teams across our business about the actions we’re taking to support reconciliation and build cultural awareness.

Thank you for being part of this important milestone.

We hope this launch inspires you to learn more about First Nations cultures, histories, and traditions—and empowers you to get involved in our initiatives throughout the year.

Let’s walk this journey together.
