We’re excited to announce that the Programmed team at Curtin University have welcomed their very first apprentice under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative - a very warm welcome to Bella Trolio!
Bella joins us at the beginning of her electrical apprenticeship, marking a strong step forward in our mission to create pathways for young people and bring more women into trades.
As part of this unique program, apprentices will rotate between Curtin University and Rottnest Island, gaining valuable hands-on experience in two very different work environments.
A special thank you to Robbie Simpson from Apprenticeship Support Australia (CCIWA) who supported us through the onboarding process and ensured Bella felt confident and informed as she begins her journey.
At Programmed, we’re committed to building a skilled and inclusive workforce, and we’re thrilled to have Bella leading the way as our first PPP apprentice.
If you're a manager and keen to learn more about apprenticeships and how hiring an apprentice can benefit your team, you can join an upcoming information session from our Learning & Development team - see here for Australia and here for New Zealand.
