I’m incredibly proud, and humbled, to step into the role of CEO of Programmed as we enter our 75th year as a business. It’s a privilege to lead a business with such a deep history, a clear purpose, and a reputation built on the trust of our customers and communities across Australia and New Zealand.

Over the past two weeks, I’ve focused on deepening my understanding of the business units that make up Staffing (PERSOL, Energy and Resources, Offshore, Industrial, Infrastructure and Training) and finalising the budget and plans for our next Financial Year, which commences 1 April.
Continue our strong values
As a business, it’s essential that we continue to be true to who we are. Our values and authenticity underpin our special Programmed culture and guide the way we support our people, partner with customers, and make decisions. Keeping the customer at the centre of our focus, while caring for our people, will remain essential as we move forward.
I’m currently finalising our organisation structure - from an operating model perspective, it will not be dramatically different to what’s in place today. The key change will see some corporate functions elevated to take on broader, business-wide responsibilities, strengthening how we operate as one Programmed. I look forward to sharing more structural information in the coming 1 – 2 weeks.
The future together
Importantly, this structure will not impede the ability of our Operating Divisions to grow and prosper, continuing to offer the autonomy and support they need to perform and thrive, with corporate functions focused on enabling strong outcomes across the whole business.
I’m excited about what we’ll achieve together and look forward to continuing this journey with you. I’d like to sincerely thank all of you for the essential role you continue to play in supporting our people, our customers, and Programmed.
Take care and stay safe,
Graeme Hurn
