In a reflection of our commitment to deepening First Nations engagement and contributing to social impact initiatives across Australia, we are thrilled to share the continuation of Programmed's 12-year-strong partnership with The Clontarf Foundation!

The Clontarf Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that works to improve young First Nations men's education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem, and employment prospects, helping them to engage more fully in society.

In addition to attending employment forums, hosting School-Based Traineeships (SBT) for current students, and offering employment opportunities to Clontarf alumni across the business, one of Programmed's proudest partnership outcomes is the Wadjemup Cup.

In collaboration with the Rottnest Island Authority, the initiative has been a recurring event on the Island for over a decade. Not only has it provided students from across the sate with a platform to showcase their football skills, it's also fostered new friendships and deepened their understanding of the cultural significance of Wadjemup.

"The Clontarf Foundation uses a unique, innovative, and highly successful approach to improve the education, employment and wellbeing outcomes of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men," said Gerard Neesham, CEO of Clontarf Foundation.

"In 2024, the Foundation supports 11,400 young men in 156 academies across WA, the NT, SA, QLD, NSW and VIC. Over 1,000 Year 12 students are enrolled and working towards completing their secondary studies this year.

The Foundation's partnership with Programmed provides Clontarf Academy members, graduates and alumni with many meaningful development opportunities and employment pathways.

Programmed staff who participate in academy visits, host academy members at Programmed worksites or attend Clontarf events always demonstrate genuine care, warmth, and respect towards the young men they interact with. We thank Programmed for its support and are excited to continue our partnership."

"We are thrilled to renew our partnership with Clontarf Foundation, recognising the vital impact of their work in empowering young First Nations men through education and mentorship," said Mark Rademaker, Head of HR & Corporate Services at Programmed.

"This collaboration underscores our commitment to fostering inclusive opportunities and supporting community-driven initiatives that create lasting social change."

This collaboration has been incredibly impactful, and we're thrilled to continue making a positive difference in the community. Stay tuned for more updates on our collaboration with the Clontarf Foundation – the best is yet to come!
