The Programmed Difference Awards recognise our people who embrace and actively live our values, going above and beyond to make a difference for our people, customers and community.

The Awards support the values that unite us and provide a set of common guiding principles that help instill a sense of pride throughout our business, including Personal Safety Leadership, Care & Empathy, Customer Service, and Diversity, Inclusion & Equality.

Nominations are judged quarterly by the Head of HR & Corporate Services and Heads of Divisions, with selected nominees receiving a $200 gift card.

Our judges had their work well and truly cut out for them this quarter, sorting through many worthy potential winners, with the Facility Management awards ultimately gifted for the following inspiring achievements.

If you know a team member who has gone above and beyond in demonstrating our Programmed values, you can nominate them for a Programmed Difference Award by clicking below.

Alex Haskey
Facilities Coordinator

Nominated by Paul Maston, Account Manager Uniting

Awarded for Customer Service - “Alex was a new hire into Programmed and moved into area 10 of the Uniting contract. PFM Performance in this area was below the customers expectations previously with low win rates <30% of all jobs. Feedback on communication was poor. Alex hit the ground running. In a 3month period win rates have increased to 56%, customer feedback has been frequent and extremely complimentary. In an area where PFM was on the verge of loosing the works, we are now considered the go-to for project works in area 10 thanks to the efforts, and customer service of Alex and his ongoing communication with the client stakeholder group.”

Stephen Forthuber
General Tradesperson - TL

Nominated by Peter Ross, Operations Manager

Awarded for Customer Service - “When asked for innovation ideas relating to our SYD Airport contract – Stephen went over and above. Developing and presenting a change initiative – a real positive heading into contract negotiations. The initiative aligned with SYD Airports Master Plan | Environmental Strategy. If I was the customer, this is how I’d like to be served!”

John Burton
Electrical Maintenance Manager

Nominated by Dallas Kelly, Contract Manager

Awarded for Customer Service“Please refer to below email from the client.

Recently, we encountered a significant roof leak at Sydney Airport – T2 Heinemann location. This leak posed a substantial risk to our biggest retailer as the recent weather conditions in Sydney have been very challenging. However, I am pleased to inform you that thanks to the extraordinary efforts of John, the situation was swiftly and effectively addressed.

John demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong sense of initiative throughout the process. He proactively identified the source of the leak, meticulously assessed the extent of the damage, and worked tirelessly to devise and implement a solution. His commitment to ensuring minimal disruption to airport operations while prioritizing the safety and integrity of the facility was truly commendable.

Furthermore, John's professionalism and effective communication skills were instrumental in coordinating efforts with other stakeholders involved in resolving the issue. His ability to collaborate and coordinate resources efficiently played a pivotal role in the successful outcome of this challenging situation.

It is evident that John's dedication, expertise, and proactive approach embody the values and standards of excellence we strive for within our company. His actions not only reflect positively on himself but also on PFM and the values your company espouses.

Therefore, I would like to formally commend John Burton for his outstanding performance and invaluable contribution in mitigating this issue. His commitment to delivering exceptional service is a testament to the calibre of professionals we have the pleasure of working alongside.
