Gregory Lackey, Programmed's Social Inclusion Manager based in the ACT, is a driving force behind our commitment to positive change in our local communities. As he recently clocked three years with our business, our PR Specialist Cassandra Zorro investigated some of the reasons Gregory has become such a fundamental part of our Programmed culture. Here's what she had to say.
Gregory's enthusiasm for social inclusion programs and educational opportunities for all is infectious from the get-go.
When I first meet Gregory he is talking non-stop about some of the recent social inclusion programs delivered in the ACT. These include Education Trade workshops hosted at schools and colleges, enabling students to learn practical skills like plastering, ‘Trade for a Day’ events empowering tenants to fix their flyscreens, and BBQs to help build community, encourage greater collaboration with a range of local community organisations, and ensure that all tenant’s voices are heard.
Gregory’s colleagues agree that he is always helping people out and that he truly embodies Programmed’s four core values of personal safety leadership, genuine care and empathy, excellent customer service, and championing diversity, inclusion and diversity. Greg is always striving to ensure the best possible outcomes, often for the most vulnerable people in the community.
“Gregory is really enthusiastic about Programmed’s social inclusion projects and he is genuinely passionate about what he does for Programmed," said Sharron Bright, Compliance & Engagement Manager. "He really cares about the people we are working with and is so proud when they succeed.”
Gregory's three years with Programmed have embedded his position as a leading force for good, forming an integral part of our Social Inclusion team making a positive impact in the ACT. Congratulations on three years with Programmed, Gregory, and thank you for all of your vital engagement efforts!
