Maintaining New Zealand’s vital infrastructure while fostering a healthier workforce.

At Programmed, we believe in the power of meaningful work - just ask Victor Howe!

After transitioning from a high-pressure role in the automotive industry to becoming a Facilities Service Technician with Programmed, Victor embarked on a remarkable personal journey that led him to shed 17 kg in just two months!

This transformation wasn’t just about weight loss - it represented a complete lifestyle change. With the opportunity to work outdoors and walk up to 63 kilometers a day, Victor found not only physical vitality but also renewed life satisfaction.

Our new partnership with Transpower has created 34 roles, empowering Kiwis to thrive both personally and professionally.

“By reinvesting in local communities and prioritising local knowledge, we create a shared trust model that drives our success," said Matthew Cotterall, Head of Facility Management in New Zealand.

With a team dedicated to maintaining essential assets that power NZ, we know that our local workforce is our greatest asset.

Our Transpower contract is not just a business milestone - it’s a commitment to the future of New Zealand’s infrastructure. With our innovative technologies, such as drones for asset inspections, we can deliver top-notch services while minimising disruption.

“Facilities Maintenance is a crucial component of ensuring our critical infrastructure meets the demands of the future," said Mark Ryall, Transpower's EGM of Grid Delivery.

Victor's story and Programmed's relationship with Transpower truly emphasises our commitment to both excellence and healthy, happy team members!
