Sonder in Action: Growing Engagement & Competition Winners

Following a significant cross-functional effort, our new partnership with Sonder—our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Health and Wellbeing provider—continues to gain strong momentum across the business.

We’re seeing great engagement, with more employees downloading and activating the app through recent initiatives such as the wellbeing check-in competition and flu vaccination program.

Designed to provide 24/7 wellbeing, personal safety and medical support for employees and their families, Sonder is receiving positive feedback across a range of features:

  • Convenient, on-demand support – Employees value having access to services not traditionally included in EAP programs, all available at the touch of a button.
  • Enhanced personal safety features – Tools such as ‘Check on Me’ and ‘Track My Journey’ have been highly praised for providing reassurance when leaving work late at night or travelling alone.
  • Real-time alerts – Notifications such as traffic incidents and extreme weather updates are helping people stay informed and prepared.
  • Personalised experience – The more you use Sonder, the more it tailors support and content to your needs. Employees have highlighted the value of this personalised approach compared to a one-size-fits-all model.

As employees continue to explore the platform, there have also been some helpful insights to support getting the most from the service:

  • Guided support from the start – When you first connect with Sonder via call or chat, a triage nurse will assess your needs and guide you to the most appropriate support. While this may be a new experience for some, it ensures you receive timely, tailored care.
  • Multiple ways to access support – Sonder offers a range of options including app-based chat, phone, telehealth and face-to-face appointments. While in-person sessions may take slightly longer to arrange in some locations, particularly in more remote areas, telehealth services provide immediate support so you can access help straight away.
  • Smooth app access – To ensure successful login, remember that the app is case sensitive—your PERSOL | Programmed email address must be entered in lowercase. 

    Employees without a PERSOL | Programmed email address (on-site employee) can still access the Sonder app however do so via a registration code – refer here for instructions.

     

  • Sharing with family members - To share the App with immediate family members wait 24 hours after you have downloaded the app, then select ‘More’ at the bottom of the screen and choose Share Sonder.
