This Friday, we share another story of endurance and pushing limits in the name of raising vital funds for a very important cause, made all the more meaningful by a personal story. 🏃♂️
Earlier this year, team members from our Signage Solutions and Property Services Admin teams in Sydney took part in Run2Cure Sydney, raising funds for neuroblastoma research - a cause with personal significance because of the experience of one of our own, Evan Cremer.
The day was both a team effort and a show of support, made all the more meaningful by Evan’s journey and recovery. His story brought the cause close to home and gave purpose to every step taken on the day:
“I suffered a seizure at the start of 2023, which led to the discovery of a large oligodendroglioma tumor, along the entire left-frontal part of my brain. After six hours of surgery, six weeks of radiation, and 12 months of chemotherapy, I’m still alive. This is despite the amazing team of doctors not being able to remove all of the tumor.
"I’m very fortunate to still be here, and I feel terribly for these young children who suffer from this type of tumor, which is far more deadly than what I was diagnosed with.”
With this personal story as part of their motivation, the team laced up their runners and hit the pavement, raising awareness and vital funds for a cause that desperately needs more attention and support.
Across the Property Services business, many stood with Evan, whether by running, donating, or showing support in other ways. Even if they couldn’t be there on the day, people stood in solidarity through encouragement, contributions, and helping to spread the word.
Thank you to everyone who got involved - your support made a real impact and showed the strength of our team when we come together for something that matters.
Most of all, it was a chance to stand beside Evan and celebrate how far he’s come - a reminder of the resilience within our team and the power of shared support.
Amazing work, team.
