This Friday, we share a story from Sean Balchin, Operations Manager for VSBA, celebrating a new certification earned by our VSBA team in Facility Management. 💧
"Recently, nine of our team members completed IICRC-accredited training and are now all certified Water Restoration Technician Qualified and have a comprehensive understanding of the IICRC S500 Standard for Professional Water Restoration.
This is not only great for the business in an environment where we are dealing with an increased number of floods and events requiring Water Restoration works, but also for our client the VSBA.
Next, the team will be trained and become certified in Applied Microbial Remediation, which will assist them when dealing with mold.
With the increased knowledge, I expect to see a reduction in costs from subcontractors, and also the time it takes to restore a space after water damage and mold has occurred."
