At some point, everybody who has ever worked has felt the pressure of work-related stress. Any job can have stressful elements, even if you love what you do. In the short term, you may experience pressure to meet a deadline or to fulfil a challenging obligation. But when work stress becomes chronic, it can be overwhelming—and harmful to physical and emotional health. Unfortunately, such long-term stress is all too common. You can’t always avoid the tensions that occur on the job. Yet you can take steps to manage work-related stress.
Tradeswomen Australia (TWA) aims to add to the growing TWA research collection about women working in non-traditional roles. Programmed were pleased to partner with TWA and join Victoria University in contributing to a recently released report. The report includes a practical 'Guide for Action' to attract and retain women as leaders.
Last year all women employees had the opportunity to provide feedback in the employee engagement survey. For those who participated, it was an opportunity to review our progress and help set our future course. Your feedback helps us plan how to make Programmed Maintenance an even better place to work.

In partnership with Dattner Group, to support women in their leadership journey, we are offering 3 women across Trades and Operations the opportunity to take part in theCompass Program, a 3-month leadership development program designed for women.
On March 8, we celebrated International Women’s Day and all the incredible women at Programmed.
One of the main reasons this newsletter started was because we wanted a way to showcase the careers and talents of women working across PFM and PPS in trades and operations, as well as share success stories that would inspire others. We want to thank you for your ongoing contribution and all that you bring to your roles and for inspiring and leading the way for other women who are part of our Women Connect Community.
