Lynette is proud a Dunghutti woman from Kempsey, NSW and has worked in the community service and education sector for over 20 years.
She sees her role as an opportunity to bridge the gap between diversity and inclusiveness by leading the way in line with Programmed core values to deliver optimum training and pre-employment programs to people who are looking for a fair go and opportunities to work in the Trade and Facility Management industry.Lauren & Hayley are 2nd and 3rd year Apprentices in Electrical Technologies. We thought the best way to hear about their career in trades was to take a trip to Queensland earlier this year and film them in action. Hear how Lauren dealt with the biases of others telling her that she wouldn’t be respected in a trade and how Hayley has career aspirations to take on her own apprentice one day.
If you would like to find out more from Lauren or Hayley about their career paths, reach out by emailing womenintrades@programmed.com.au and we will connect you.
